Dreaming of a blue Christmas?

Last day before Christmas, rushing through crowded Orchard Road to get the last things for the holidays? Squeezing into the MRT to get to another shopping centre? Does this sound exciting to you? Well, we clearly prefer being underneath the sea instead. We had our first Xmas dive on 23rd Dec and what could be better than exploring Singapore’s reefs? And this time, the dive experience was really special. What is so special about it, you may think? Let us give you a glimpse.

 On a wonderfully sunny morning, we headed out to Marlin Divers Secret Santa’s dive site. A boat full of PADI Professionals: Divemasters, Instructors and Course Directors, all dressed up in their finest Christmas wear to celebrate very special Christmas dives. The dive site may seem to be well known but watch out! Santa was there! In fact, two Santas! And as they cannot help themselves but to give, a lucky diver that found something nice during the dives. During surface interval we enjoyed a delightful meal, just adequate for this day full of joy. We sang along our favourite Christmas carols and were just happy to be amongst like minded people. Ok, we skipped singing, but instead we were even more happy!

This sounds like a lot, right? But yet, we did not mention the perks we had for the best costume. We gave away a free dive trip worth $150 but no one had to be upset for not winning as you could still get discounts on your next trip or purchases in the shop, all you had to do was tag your Christmas dive pictures on Facebook or Instagram. 

Back at the Yacht Club, all relaxed and in best mood for the Christmas days.
